Here is the peak of my artistic talent - I'm not a great artist, but I managed to create this freehand drawing of Tikal's North Acropolis, the series of structures raised on a platform that marks the northern boarder of the Great Plaza. I used a map which laid out the temples and buildings, and also used a couple of photos from books to get a general idea of how the various buildings looked. However, I had to guess in a number of places, since several of the buildings have been eroded or torn down for archaeological studies, or are little more than rubble visually. This drawing took several days to complete when I should have been concentrating on my engineering degree. I managed to get an "A" on the paper, however!
