Be careful when flying around... not only are there enemy ships to watch out for, but also asteroids. Smash into an asteroid, and you may take considerable damage!

If your ship becomes too damaged to be effective (for example you have lost most of your engines and can only fly in circles), use the self-destruct button to destroy yourself and respawn. This is especially useful in online play, where sitting too long unable to compete can mean less kills for you....
